Founded in in 2009, in Dongguan, China, Vivo today has its presence in over 100 countries across the globe. The brand recently (first quarter of 2020)  took over Samsung as the second-largest mobile seller in India behind another Chinese giant Xiaomi. It is also a subsidiary of BBK Electronics Corporation along with OnePlus, Oppo, and Xiaomi. It was the top premium smartphone maker in Indian market in 2019 with 33% market share leaving Samsung (26%) and Apple (25%) behind.

12. Xiaomi 

Headquartered in Beijing, Xiaomi is one of the largest investors, manufacturers and sellers of smartphones in the world. It is the 4th largest smartphone manufacturer in the world.  Besides smartphones, Xiaomi also invests and makes mobile apps, laptops, bags, earphones, shoes and fitness bands.
