The intensity of the threat that they pose would of course depend on the way they are treated and the surroundings that they are kept in. But there are some breeds of dogs that are more dangerous than the others. This may be inferred by their inclination towards being aggressive, their size, and the power of their jaws. While chances are that even a cute little pooch like a chihuahua can bite you and cause tremendous pain. So, you can never be too careful with these animals. 1. Rottweiler

According to studies, a Rottweiler is ten times more likely to attack or maul a human than an average dog. They are extremely protective of their owners and can go as far as hurting the other person in order to protect their owner. Their bites are also extremely powerful and can prove to be fatal sometimes. A steady and patient training is required to instill a sense of control in them.

This extremely powerful dog has the muscular body of a bulldog and the agile prowess of a terrier, thereby making it a force to reckon with. They have strong jaws and are used as fighting dogs in several countries. They are not inherently aggressive, but a lack of proper care can make them so.
