Betrayal, sorrow, and drama abound in the battle for Pride Rock, finally leading to Simba’s exile. Brad Bird directed this superhero film.  It is set in an alternate 1960s reality and follows the Parrs, a superhero family who hides their superpowers to comply with government regulations and blend in with the quiet suburbs. However, Mr. Incredible has a proclivity for assisting others, which leads to a confrontation with a vengeful fan-turned-enemy and his killer robot. It’s extremely clever and enjoyable.
