Based on the story of the courageous and valiant Rajput King – Prithviraj Chauhan, Prithviraj is a biopic based on Prithviraj Raso – an epic poem about his life attributed to Chand Bardai, his court poet. Starring Akshay Kumar, Sonu Sood and Manushi Chillar in lead roles, this historical drama by Yash Raj Films follows the rise of Prithviraj to the thrones, his love affair with Sanyogita and his battles with Muhammad Ghori. The trailer of the movie was released recently and has received rave reviews. The cinematography, sequences, performances and dialogues from Prithivraj have been appalauded by the audiences. Prithviraj hits the theatres on the 3rd of June after constant delays owing to the pandemic. The movie will also be dubbed in Telugu and Tamil for the regional audiences.
