Director Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘The Kashmir Files,’ based on true events and told from the perspective of a Kashmiri Pandit, is a dramatised version of events that occurred in 1989. The film begins on an innocent note, with a euphoric cricket commentary on the radio and young Kashmiri children playing cricket in the snow-covered landscape. The Kashmir Files, produced by Zee Studious and Abhishek Agarwal Arts, was released in theatres on March 11th. The film received a positive response from critics and audiences upon its initial release.
