A Bangalore Blinkit User Threatens Customer Support Because He Chatted in Hindi

A recent news about a Tweet became viral and everyone has something to say about it! A man from Bengaluru ordered something on Blinkit, and after getting his items delivered, he got a notification from the company saying “Dekho ye order 12 minutes mein deliver ho gaya” which means ‘See this order was delivered in just 12 minutes’. The man got bewildered and had a heated chat with the Blinkit customer care guys, saying that they sent him a threatening message in an ‘alien language’ because ‘gaya’ means ‘wound’ in the Kannada language. Next, he tweeted the screenshots of his chats and these have garnered a lot of attention.

Till now, the tweet has gained 2.5 million views, had 3.4k comments, and 2.8k reposts. Reportedly, he even told the customer service people that he would file a police complaint against them for sending a ‘threat message’. The man went on to notify people about the further interactions with customer care and how things have taken a better turn for him. Later, he retweeted and said that he is now receiving notifications in no ‘alien language’ but only English. If people support this cause, the company might even send notifications in Kannada. Interestingly, some had the same issues and didn’t want to receive Hindi notifications on their phones, many mocked his behavior and called it a peak ‘jobless act’.

Funnily enough, many advised him to not take such drastic steps next time and instead just turn off his notifications! It is not just this, but the number of threads shared on this tweet is increasing as people are reading it and many of them can’t help but express their views on the matter. People gave mixed reactions, some found humor, and others were criticizing his actions. Many others were amused about such an incident happening in Bangalore which is a metro city and many North Indians have found their home in this place. Check out some of the interesting tweets here:

India is a diverse nation where many people, cultures, languages, and religions coexist peacefully, but still, there are many incidences where people prefer to keep a barrier between each other.
