The doll, which Dorothy thinks to be her actual child, was the only item that helped her recover after Jericho’s passing from a catatonic state. Sean deals with his loss on his own and grows quite wary of Leanne.
Eight young adults who are terminally ill live together in a hospice outside of Seattle called Brightcliffe Home, which is administered by an enigmatic physician. Every night at midnight, they get together to share spooky tales. They have an agreement that whoever dies first from their illness will be in charge of contacting the others from the afterlife.

The show is based on a true tale of a married couple that receives letters from a stalker under the alias ‘The Watcher’ after moving into their dream home in Westfield, New Jersey. It is partially based on a 2018 piece written by Reeves Wiedeman for New York’s ‘The Cut’.
