15 Best Hindi Dubbed South Indian Movies On Netflix You Need To Watch

The South Indian film industry is making some of the best films in the country apart from the Marathi film industry. There are epics, romances, actions, thrillers, horrors and plenty of others. I had my introduction to South Indian films with Lijo Jose Pellisary’s Jallikattu. It became an instant favourite of mine. All of their films are bursting with innovation. Not just technical innovations, but innovations in the narrative, storytelling, performances and editing. Here is a list of the 15 best Hindi dubbed South Indian movies on Netflix that you need to watch.

1. Bahubali

Bahubali became a huge success when it came out. People were awestruck by the amount of grandeur in the frames. The movie is a landmark in its technical achievements.

2. Kurup

Kurup follows a consummate criminal, Sukumara Kurup who is set to find a man of similar appearance so that he can falsify his death to claim insurance money.

3. Kabali

Kabali faces 25 years of imprisonment because he raised his voice against the oppression faced by Tamil labourers in Malaysia. After being released, he seeks revenge on the ones who wronged him.


4. U-Turn

Rachana, an intern at a leading newspaper, gets accused of murdering a frequent motorist on the flyover she is investigating for frequent accidents that are occurring.

5. Bhoomika

A horror movie. What more do you need? A horror fan like me will be instantly interested to watch anything that has the word “horror” attached to it. This is one of them.

6. Awe

If you haven’t seen this, you should. This film is a really interesting take on a medical condition, which I will not reveal. It takes place in various parts of a restaurant, each location featuring a different story.

7. Minnal Murali

After being struck by lightning, Jason, a young tailor gains superpowers. As with any origin story of a superhero, he needs an evil force, and he gets one. Watch him defeat an unexpected adversary to become the superhero his village needs.

8. Bahubali 2: The Conclusion

Well, I’ll be honest with you. I am not a big fan of the Bahubali series. But I cannot ignore its popularity. And nothing gets popular if it doesn’t have an X factor in it. Bahubali has it.

9. Game Over

This is an interesting film. We do not get second chances in life, forget about three. But Swapna, our protagonist has to play a unique game of survival when a serial killer enters her house.

10. Petta

Rajnikanth stars as Kaali, a hostel warden who crosses paths with a group of dangerous gangsters. The movie also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

11. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is an acclaimed Telegu film. It follows Bantu, as he learns of his real parentage and carves a space for himself within the family to which he truly belongs.

12. Bombay

Bombay is one of my favorite Hindi dubbed South Indian movies on Netflix of the trilogy. All of the three movies had amazing cinematography and score, but this one topped all of them.

13. Forensic

Samuel, a medico-legal advisor puts his forensic knowledge to the test when a psychotic killer sets out on a killing spree.

14. Nayattu

Nayattu is one of the must-watch Hindi dubbed South Indian movies on Netflix. It follows three police officers who flee as they are framed by their higher officials. They try their best to avoid being arrested.

15. Irul

Irul has one of my favourite actors in India. You probably guessed it by now. It is Fahadh Faasil. This man never fails to amaze me. Irul is a well-made thriller that follows Alex and Archana stranded in a house. There’s a catch though, there is something off with the owner of the house.
