10. Mughal Road

The Mughal road began in Agra, the Mughal capital (in UP). It passed through Lahore (now Pakistan) on its way to Poonch, Rajouri, and finally Srinagar in the valley. Until Jehangir (early 17th century) travelled on it and renamed it the Mughal road, the Poonch segment of a road was known as the Namak road (presumably, the’salt road’). It also connects scenic locations such as Buffliaz, Behramgala, Chandimarh, Dugran, Pushana, Chatta Pani, Mansar, and Peer Ki Gali. 1. Drass
