Mandakini was the most in-demand actress known for her versatile acting skills. In her short career span of just 6 years, she did many superhit movies and made her mark in the industry. However, her one photo with an underworld don went viral and created a stir in the industry. From thereon, her career went downhill.
2. Shiney Ahuja
Shiney Ahuja had a promising beginning of his career with the movie,’ Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’ and even won a Best Debutant Award for the same. In 2009, his career came to an end, when a young house-help accused him of r*ping and then threatening her for revealing the truth.
3. Shakti Kapoor
Shakti Kapoor is known for playing major negative and comedic characters in many 90s movies. His career was on a high up until 2005 when a sting operation by India TV showed him asking for se*ual favors from a woman in return for getting her work in movies.

Mamta Kulkarni was once a favorite actress not just for the directors but for the whole nation- such was her popularity! She has done movies with all the big Bollywood actors like Govinda, Shah Rukh Khan, Sunil Shetty, and Salman Khan. She was also known as the controversy’s favorite child, as she often found herself drawn into controversies be it her topless pose, Burqa incident, and many more. Her association with the drug trafficker of Mumbai- Vikram Goswami became a final nail in the coffin for her career.
5. Vivek Oberoi
Everyone knows about the alleged affair between Aishwarya Rai and Vivek Oberoi that bloomed on the sets of the movie,’ Kyun…Ho Gaya Naa. Their love ended on a bitter note because of the ex-bf Salman Khan fiasco, and Vivek Oberoi hosting a press conference to talk about all the ‘threatening calls’ made to him by Salman Khan. This all did not turn out positive for Vivek, as his alleged war of words with Salman ended his career.

Papon is a skilled classical singer and one of the finest in the country. He had sung songs like Moh Moh Ke Dhaage, Humnava, Kyun!, and Buleya among others. He was once caught on camera in a reality show, kissing a minor girl contestant on reality TV show sparked outrage, and even a case was filed against him. After the incident, his popularity dipped and his career ended suddenly.

Abhijeet Bhattacharjee is the sweet voice behind many popular 90s songs, but his own unpopular opinions about the three Khans of the industry, his hatred-filled messages, sexiest, and even homophobic comments turned all his fans against him and his Twitter account also got suspended.
8. Manisha Koirala
The pahadi beauty and the granddaughter of Nepal’s 22nd PM Bisweshwar Prasad Koirala, Manisha came from a prestigious background. Her innocence, beauty, and acting skills gave her instant success in Bollywood. Unfortunately, after working in major hits like Dil Se, Bombay, and Mann- she vanished from the industry owing to her alcohol addiction.
