British rock band Coldplay is coming to India finally! Coldplay 2025 India tour is confirmed and the Indian fans are more than happy. The much eagerly awaited concert will take place on 18-19 January 2025 in the DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai. The Mumbai event is a part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour. This is Coldplay’s first major event in India since their last appearance at the 2016 Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai. The lead vocalist of the band, Chris Martin even had a 10-minute English-Hindi duo performance with AR Rahman during their last performance in 2016, which delighted their fans and left them wanting for more! Well, the good news is— this time they won’t appear briefly on stage and will have a full-fledged concert ( I am excited beyond words!).
It is all about ‘Music of Spheres’
The announcement of the Coldplay India Tour 2025 was made by BookMyShow Live on their site, which came as a surprise for many music lovers. This new tour is all about the band’s new album ‘Music of Spheres’, which was released in 2021. Music of Spheres album has a collection of songs focusing on cosmic themes and also includes one song “My Universe” which was sung in collaboration with K-pop band BTS.

Yup, you can book your tickets from 22 September 2024, and a limited number of ‘Infinity tickets’ are available, so make sure to book quickly! The tickets are approximately priced at ₹ 2000 (€ 20) so that everyone can easily afford them without burning a wider hole in their pockets. Each person can book a maximum of two adjacent tickets so that everyone can get a chance. The seating locations will be a surprise and you will get to know your seat number only at the ticket counter on the day of the concert (seats are a mystery).
