Along with having sighted creepy shadows and eerie lights. According to legend, the palace is engulfed in a limbo due to the curse of a black magic practitioner called Singhia who fell in love with Princess Ranavati of Bhangarh. He had tried to lure her towards him by replacing her ittar bottle with a love potion. The Princess saw through the Singhia’s scheme and threw the bottle on a rock and as a result the rock rolled to the black magician thereby crushing him to death. It is said that with his dying breath Singhia snarled a curse on Bhangarh which resulted in its destruction and hauntedness.
