Hungama is an unforgettable movie by Priyadarshan— it is a senseless comedy where chaos, confusion, and sarcasm work their charm on us and we as audiences don’t have to do anything. Many stories are going on a parallel that is somehow interlinked and fall in place in the end— but, before that— there is confusion in the air and hysteric laughter on our side! I have watched it umpteen times and still, some scenes are too funny to watch and say that it seems repetitive (they make you laugh every time!). The legendary Malayali filmmaker Priyadarshan has made some of the best comedy movies in Bollywood including Malamal Weekly, Hera Pheri, Phir Hera Pheri, Bhool Bhulaiya, De Dana Dan, Chup Chupke, and Hungama among many others.
