A gripping and fear-inducing survival thriller movie. The ‘Boat’ movie features Yogi Babu, Gouri Kishan, M.S. Bhaskar, Sha Ra, and Kulappulli Leela in pivotal roles. It revolves around the lives of ten people who escape on a small boat after bombings destroy their lives and surroundings. However, the boat halts and slowly starts sinking while they are in the middle of their journey. So, how are the passengers going to save themselves while they are stranded in the vast endless oceans? That’s what the rest of the movie shows.
4. Thangalaan | 15 August | Tamil
Thangalaan which means ‘The Son of Gold’ is the name of the upcoming Tamil fantasy action film starring Vikram in the title role of Thangalaan, a tribal leader. The movie is set in British-era India where the people of a village are looking for a gold treasure under the orders of British General, Lord Clement. But, in the quest, they enrage the powerful sorcerer Aarathi— who has decided to not stop until the whole village and the tribe is wiped out. What will Thangaaan do now? Footage is an intriguing Malayalam language thriller film that is filmed in a found footage style— a style that makes the movie look very realistic. We feel like looking inside the private lives of people we have no idea about— makes the film more suspenseful and interesting.
