1) Secret Invasion | June 21 | Disney+Hotstar

Nick Fury is back to save the Earth from an outside invasion. “Secret Invasion” is the ninth TV series of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The show starts with Nick Fury uncovering a secret invasion on Earth by shapeshifting Skrulls. Now, Fury is gathering all his trusted allies together to protect humanity before it’s too late! His trustworthy partners include Maria Hill, Everett Ross, and Skrull Talos. Directed by Ali Selim and featuring a star-studded ensemble cast including Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smoulders, Ben Kingsley, Charlayne Woodard, and Killian Scott. Oh, and yes—Emilia Clarke is making her debut in the MCU world! It’s one of the most highly anticipated TV shows releasing in June 2023. It is a much darker version of any MCU movie ever with bits and pieces of comedy scenes coming from Olivia Colam. 2) Bloodhounds | June 9 | Netflix

“Bloodhounds” is a South Korean noir action-drama series that will be released on Netflix on June 9. It is directed by Kim Joo-hwan and stars Woo Do-hwan, Lee Sang-yi, Park Sung-Woong, and Huh Joon-ho. The series is based on the lives of three youngsters who venture into the perilous world of private loans in order to make some money but find themselves entangled in a web of loans, thugs, and much more! It has got a good IMDB rating of 8.1 and is liked by a majority of audiences streaming the show. Have you watched it?

3) Manifest Season 4 Part 2 | June 2 | Netflix

“Manifest Season 4” Part 2 is releasing on June 2 after a long wait of 2 years. It is a supernatural show created by Jeff Rake, which begins with a group of passengers and crew onboard a plane who suddenly reappears after being declared dead for 5 years! The show has already had 3 seasons, and Season 4 Part 2 serves as the final season of the series. The cast includes Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, and J.R. Ramirez, among others. It is said to have many complex mysteries unfolding, strong performances by the whole cast, and a rollercoaster of emotions as the show comes to its end.

4) Never Have I Ever Season 4 | June 8 | Netflix

This popular teen comedy show is directed by director and comedian Mindy Kaling, along with Lang Fisher. The show is coming back with a new and final season! The series revolves around the life of Devi Vishwakumar, a 15-year-old Indian-American Tamil Hindu girl who navigates and learns a lot during her teenage years in school. In the third season, Ben (Jaren Lewison) and Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) were shown as a couple, but will they remain together? The upcoming season will provide answers to cliffhangers from the previous season, such as college plans after graduation and the introduction of a new character, a hot guy (Michael Cimino). This final season is particularly special as it aims to give all the characters a happy ending (spoiler alert: It gave happy endings!).

   

5) Black Mirror | June 15 | Netflix

After a long wait of 4 years, season 6 of Black Mirror has finally arrived. “Black Mirror” is an American anthology series created by Charlie Brooker and Anabel Jones, and it portrays the dark side of technological advancements in a chilling manner. The new season delves into the lives of five individuals whose lives are unraveling due to the influence of technology. The plot could revolve around cutting-edge technologies such as AI broadcasting a show based on your own life, predicting the likelihood of becoming a murderer or being stranded in a space station. Well, we don’t know for sure—it could be anything! The show features Annie Murphy, Salma Hayek, Michael Cera, Himesh Patel, Samuel Blenkin, and Myha’la Herrold in pivotal roles. Season 6 is not the best season (according to the ratings of Rotten Tomatoes), but still has given many innovative and unimaginable technological twists in some of its episodes- which makes it a must-watch!

6) Love Is Blind: Brazil: Season Three | June 7 | Netflix

It is a Brazilian dating reality TV show in which 32 men and women engage in a speed-dating format for 10 days. They go on dates with each other in separate ‘pods’ where they can talk but cannot see each other. When someone feels a deep connection, they have the option to propose to the contestant they want to marry. Afterward, they meet face-to-face and go on various couples’ retreats. The later part of the show involves meeting each other’s parents and getting to know their living conditions. Finally, on the day of the wedding, they must decide whether they want to get married or break up. I am both nervous and excited to see how the contestants make their decisions. It is a binge-worthy reality show at the end of a long day!

7) The Witcher Season 3 | June 29 | Netflix

“The Witcher” is a Netflix original fantasy drama series created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. The story is based on a book series written by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. Set in a medieval time period, the story follows Geralt of Rivia, a professional monster hunter known as a witcher. However, the world is plagued by corrupt kings and queens, making it a challenging environment. Geralt, Yennefer of Vengerberg, and Princess Cirilla, also known as Ciri, cross paths due to their intertwined destinies. In the third season of “The Witcher,” the focus shifts to the relationship between Geralt and Ciri as they join forces to battle more formidable creatures. If you enjoyed “Game of Thrones” and are a fan of Tolkien’s universe, then it’s time to binge-watch all three seasons of “The Witcher”!

8) Jack Ryan S4 | June 30 | Amazon Prime Video

“Jack Ryan” is an American political action thriller series based on the life of CIA analyst Jack Ryan. The series is set in the world created by writer Tom Clancy, known as the “Ryanverse”. The first three seasons chronicle Jack Ryan’s journey, starting from leaving his desk job to uncovering a series of suspicious bank transfers conducted by extremists, navigating political warfare in Venezuela, and investigating a plot to recreate a Soviet nuclear bomb. In the fourth and final season, Jack Ryan, now serving as Deputy Director at the CIA, teams up with an ex-CIA agent to undertake a crucial mission. What is the mission? How will the story conclude?
