Thanks to the covid-19 pandemic, a lot of the shows scheduled to release in 2020 were delayed and production was shut down for months. However, with the arrival of the new year, so far the conditions seem far more favourable for new releases. Indian web series tend to offer better content than their TV counterparts, and with the threat of covid still out there, they are a great option to spend the weekend watching rather than going out for a movie. With that, we bring you this list of 10 upcoming Hindi web-series in 2021 we couldn’t be more excited about.

1. Made in Heaven Season 2
Prime Video’s Made in Heaven follows the story of Tara and Karan, co-owners of Made in Heaven, a wedding planning company. The show explores the themes of sexuality, class and fidelity among others. With an extremely well-received first season and an Emmy win for lead actor Arjun Mathur, this is one of the most exciting upcoming Hindi web-series in 2021 we are waiting for.

2. Gullak Season 2
Gullak follows the story of the Mishras, a middle class family who go through the same daily grind as millions of other Indians. The show is a bittersweet experience filled with relatable stories and anecdotes.

3. Jeet ki Zid
Jeet ki Zid follows the story of Major Deep Singh who loses function in his legs after the Kargil war. The show focuses on his persevering journey through which he regains movement in his legs after he refuses to give up.

4. The Family Man Season 2
A middle-class man named Srikant Tiwari works for Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), part of the intelligence agency in India. The show follows the upheaval of Tiwari’s life after he finds out about a potential terrorist attack and handles his imperfect family life. After a well-received first season, the show is coming back for a second one.
