In a bizarre turn of events, a pair of bike-borne robbers in Delhi’s Farash Bazar ended up paying out of their own pockets instead of looting a man on the streets. It’s like a scene out of a comedy movie! Let’s dive into this strange act of kindness.
It was a lovely evening on June 21, when a couple decided to take a leisurely stroll after enjoying their dinner. Little did they know that their peaceful walk would soon take a hilarious twist. As they were minding their own business, two drunk robbers on a scooty pulled up, causing them to freeze in their tracks. One of the thugs menacingly brandished a pistol, while the other began frantically searching the couple for any valuables.
However, fate had other plans for these tipsy troublemakers. The robbers couldn’t find a single thing worth stealing! In a surprising act of generosity, they ended up handing over Rs 100 to the couple. Talk about a plot twist!

The whole incident was caught on a nearby CCTV camera, and as you can imagine, the footage quickly went viral on social media. I mean, who would’ve thought that robbers would become impromptu philanthropists?
The police were alerted as soon as the couple reported the incident. They were determined to unravel the mystery behind these robbers who seemed more interested in distributing money than stealing it.
With the help of approximately 200 CCTV cameras scattered throughout the district and combing through 400 dossiers, the police finally managed to apprehend the two criminals Dev Verma, a GST accountant, and Harsh Rajput, a private company employee. These two unlikely robbers claimed to be inspired by YouTube videos of the infamous gangster Neeraj Bawania, and apparently, they aspired to join his gang. Talk about taking inspiration from unusual sources!

Upon arresting the duo, the police discovered that they had amassed quite a collection of 30 stolen mobile phones. It seems that their aspirations to become notorious criminals were not entirely in vain, even though their first attempt at robbery turned out to be nothing more than a comedic blunder.
So, there you have it—a tale of drunken bike-borne robbers turned comedic benefactors. Let’s hope these robbers have learned their lesson and will leave the charitable acts to more appropriate circumstances.
