7 WWE Wresters From India Who Stole the Show

   

For many of us, our childhood is filled with WWE memories. Whether it be collecting WWE trump cards or imitating our favorite wrestlers’ finishers, WWE really made it special. Wrestlers like John Cena, Randy Orton, and Shawn Michaels were truly iconic and will be forever etched in our memories. Also special were Indian wrestlers, who added to the enjoyment for us Indian WWE fans. 1.) The Great Khali

Dalip Singh Rana, or as we better know him, The Great Khali was signed by WWE back in 2006. He was the most famous and successful amongst the WWE wrestlers from India. He first battled against The Undertaker and he towered above him which hardly anyone else can given Undertaker’s physique. Khali became the Heavyweight champion in 2007 by destroying wrestlers left right and center in a battle royale. Now he is retired from wrestling but still continues to be loved by fans.

2.) Jinder Mahal

Yuvraj Singh Deshi AKA Jinder Mahal was signed by WWE back in 2010, however, he was soon let go in 2014. In 2016, he made a terrific return with a much-improved body and physique. He thrashed his opponent Randy Orton in 2017 to win the WWE Championship battle and became the first WWE wrestler from India to do so.

3.) Mahabali Shera

Amanpreet Singh Randhawa, also known as Mahabali Shera, is a professional wrestler from India. In February 2018, Shera inked a contract with WWE but had a very brief stint.

4.) Rinku Singh Rajput 

   

Rinku Singh Rajput is a professional wrestler and former baseball player who signed a contract with WWE in 2018 and competes under the ring name ‘Veer’ on the Raw brand.

5.) Saurav Gurjar 

Saurav Gurjar comes from a humble background and not from a wrestling one. He is a former gold medalist in kickboxing. And in 2018, he got a contract becoming another WWE wrestler from India to perform at the big stage.

The Singh brothers formerly known as the Bollywood Boyz, Gurvinder “Gurv” Singh and Harvinder “Harv” Singh, are a professional wrestling tag team known for their time in WWE. They are of Punjabi Sikh descent and have made notable appearances in WWE.

Kavita Devi, also known as Kavita Dalal, is an Indian professional wrestler. She hails from Haryana, India, and has gained recognition for her career in the world of wrestling. Kavita Devi made history as the first Indian woman to compete in WWE.
