Another year, another gem found by Mumbai Indians. Akash Madhwal single-handedly knocked out LSG in the IPL eliminator by taking 5 wickets for just 5 runs and allowed Mumbai to advance to the 2nd Qualifier.

11. The King Vs The Prince

In the last league game of the IPL between Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bangalore, both Virat Kohli for RCB and Shubman Gill for GT produced amazing centuries. Both of them gave back-to-back 100s a feat achieved only 2 times before.

While Virat Kohli’s 100 broke the IPL record for most 100s by a player in the IPL, Shubman Gill’s 100 won them the match and knocked RCB out of the season.

12. Sandeep Sharma’s No-Ball And Abdul Samad Six Off The Last Ball

This match between RR and SRH had one of the best finishes in IPL history. Sandeep Sharma had to bowl the last ball when SRH needed 5 runs off it to win. He bowls and Samad hits it and goes straight to a fielder and catches it. The whole RR team celebrate when they realise it was a no-ball! Sharma has to bowl again and this time Samad hits it for a six and wins the match for SRH.

13.) Rashid Khan’s  Blistering Knock 

While Suryakumar Yadav hit a century in the first innings in a match between GT and MI, his knock got overshadowed in the second innings when Rashid Khan hit 10 sixes and produced a blistering knock of 79* (32).

14. Venkatesh Iyer Ends Century Drought For KKR

KKR’s Venkatesh Iyer became the only second player for the team to score a century, the last time being the inaugural match of the IPL back in 2008 by Brendon Mccullum.

15. LSG’s 1 Wicket Win Over RCB

One of the most closest and thrilling matches of this year’s IPL was the RCB Vs LSG at Chinaswamy. It came down to the last over which saw a failed Mankading attempt by Harshal Patel and with just 1 run needed and only 1 wicket left in the end. LSG won the match in the end by 1 wicket after Avesh Khan ran for a bye and then threw his helmet on the ground.

16. Jadeja Brings CSK Their 5th Title Win

Needing 10 runs off just 2 balls, Ravindra Jadeja stepped up to the occasion and hit one six and one four to seal the 5th IPL Title win for CSK.
