2.) Ravindra Jadeja Wins It For CSK
Throughout the whole IPL fans wanted Jadeja to get out just to see Dhoni bat, yet in the IPL final Jadeja won CSK the trophy by hitting 10 runs off 2 balls and proved his worth and his importance in the team.

3.) Gavaskar Runs Upto Dhoni For His Autograph
This was one of the most wholesome moments to come out of this year’s IPL. After their last match in Chepauk, Chennai this season for CSK, the players took a lap of honor on the ground as this is speculated to be Dhoni’s last IPL. Sunil Gavaskar, India’s legendary batsman didn’t want to lose this opportunity and run up to Dhoni for his autograph.

4.) Akash Madhwal’s Fiery Spell Knocks LSG Out Of The IPL
Another uncapped player for Mumbai Indians showed his mettle and his potential in the eliminator played between Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants. Akash Madhwal, the first player from Uttarakhand to participate in the IPL, delivered a remarkable spell of 5/5, resulting in LSG’s elimination from the tournament. Virat Kohli hit back-to-back centuries towards the end of the IPL season as he overtook Chris Gayle for most centuries in the IPL. His first century came against SRH and the next came against GT.

6.) Yashasvi Jaiswal Breaks Record Of Fastest Fifty In The IPL
Rajasthan Royals opener Yashasvi Jaiswal brought his fifty in just 13 balls against the KKR. By doing this he broke the record of fastest fifty in the IPL previously held jointly by KL Rahul and Pat Cummins.

7.) Dhoni Might Return Next Year?
While many speculated this IPL to be his last, in a post-match interview when asked if this is his last match at Chepauk, Dhoni replied with some ambiguity. According to his reply, he still hasn’t decided whether he’s ready to hang his boots yet and might play the next season.

14.) The Prince Has His Best-Ever IPL

15.) MS Dhoni Stalls Umpires To play Pathirana
Pathirana had gone out of the field and for him to bowl the next over Dhoni had to wait out the amount of time he was out, which he did by stalling the umpires. Against Mumbai Indians in qualifier 2, Shubman Gill produced a masterclass inning as he smashed 129 runs off just 60 balls. This also became the highest-ever score in an IPL play-off. With this knock, he also ensured that he wins the orange cap for the season.

17.) Gill Falls Prey To Dhoni’s Lightening Stumping
Shubman Gill was in his prime and the form of his life during this IPL, scoring a huge hundred in the previous match.
