Canterbury Kings

Last season, they finished with six wins out of 10 matches and unfortunately missed the title to the Northern Knights.
Two of the best players of the Kings, Leo Carter and Ken McClure, have been making great records for the team. First, Carter has smashed 305 runs in 11 matches, an impressive feat for a player. While another player, McClure, played 173 runs in 7 matches.
If these two stay alert and healthy, plus head coach Peter Fulton finds ways to improve the team’s efficiency further so they can finally get out of the runner-up line and win the title, they have the best chance of winning this season.
Otago Volts
Otago Volts also have brilliant players that carried them to second place last season. Dean Foxcraft smashed 424 runs last season, which made him the leading run-scorer. On top of that, he also picked 9 wickets. Volts is also the home of one of the best scorers, Jake Gibson.
Just last season, he made 266 runs in 9 innings with a strike rate of 148.60, which none of the players from the teams above has made. If the Volts’s players continue to be as impressive as they already are and change up a few things in how the teams play from here and there, it will be no surprise if they win this season.
