Adipurush Makers Will Reserve A Seat For Lord Hanuman In Every Theatre

   

Adipurush is an upcoming mythological drama based on Ramayana. Bhushan Kumar and Om Raut have produced the film. It stars Kriti Sanon, Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan in prime roles. And has Devdatta Nage and Sunny Singh in supporting roles. As the film will release in a couple of weeks, and the makers have made a recent announcement that is puzzling everyone. They have officially announced that they will reserve an unoccupied seat in every theatre where the film is screened. 

The Adipurush team clarified that they would reserve an unoccupied paid seat in every theatre for Lord Hanuman. It is a general belief that anywhere people recite Ramayan Lord Hanuman appears. Keeping this belief in mind, the makers have made this decision. They believe Lord Hanuman will also be watching this timeless epic saga of Ramayana.

An official statement from the makers of the movie reads:

   

“Lord Hanuman appears wherever the Ramayana is recited. It is our belief. Respecting this belief, every theatre screening Prabhas’ Rama-starrer Adipurush will reserve one seat for Lord Hanuman without selling it. Hear the history of paying respects to the greatest devotee of Rama. We started this great work in an unknown way. We all must see the Adipurusha built with great grandeur and grandeur in the presence of Lord Hanuman.”

Adipurush is an attempt of Indian cinema to bring the mythological tale of Ramayana to silver screens. It is made on a budget of 500 crores.  And ever since the teaser of the film was released, it has been in the limelight. It received a massive backlash from the public for the poor quality of the VFx and Saif Ali Khan’s look as Lankesh. So, the makers immediately reworked it and upscaled the VFx. The updated version of the teaser looked more relatable.



Recently, the makers also announced that ‘Adipurush’ will be screened at Tribeca Festival in New York on June 13, as per ANI reports. You can watch the film June 16 onwards in a theater near you. The film will release across India in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
