1. The Lost Girl | 05 April 2024
It is a thriller drama film about a young five-year-old girl named Suhani who gets separated from her parents during the 1984 Sikh riots. She had to then make peace with living with strangers for more than 15 years- until one day. After 15 years, she finally gathers up her courage and sets out on a journey to find out about her real family and her true identity.
2. The Defective Detectives | 05 April 2024
It is an Indian English-language movie directed by Paritosh Painter. The movie is about the misadventures of three friends who had set out on a journey to start their spying business. However, the three friends- Aditya, Manav, and Shree are disabled- they try to become good detectives but instead get entangled in many comical situations. The movie has an ensemble star cast including Jesse Lever, Bharat Dabholkar, Tejaswini Lonari, Johnny Lever, and Jayesh, among other talented stars.
3. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan | 10 April 2024
An action thriller movie starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff- this movie has garnered a lot of attention even before its release! The movie is about two soldiers with very different personalities teaming up to recover a stolen weapon and catch a dangerous masked man who wants to destroy India. This high-octane action thriller is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated movies of 2024- so be ready!
4. Amar Singh Chamkila | 12 April 2024
Amar Singh Chamkila is a biographical musical film based on the life of a Punjabi folk singer named Chamkila and his wife. The duo once ruled in every nook and corner of Punjab with their music and catchy songs. However, the bold lyrics were considered to influence the people in a wrong manner and he was killed while going to a live concert. Netflix is bringing back the magic of his music once again through this film. Diljeet Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra are playing the lead roles.
5. Do Aur Do Pyaar | 19 April 2024
A rom-com movie about a couple who is on the verge of getting a breakup- they are already dating sexy strangers outside of their relationship. But, before they decide to break the news and go their separate ways- a lot happens in their life and they might have to rethink their decisions.
6. Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 | 19 April 2024
The sequel of this dark drama film is about exploring love in the times of the internet. Like the previous movie, this one is also going to focus on the lives of a few individuals and how they deal with love, breakups, friendships, and even their journey of going through self-discovery. Hoping that the second movie entertains us as much as the first one did while also giving us some serious relationship lessons.
7. Tehran | 26 April 2024
It is an action thriller starring John Abraham, Manushi Chillar, and Madhurima Tulli in prominent roles. The movie was going to be released at the start of 2023- but the release got delayed. So, this Dinesh Vijan movie is finally going to be released! Not much has been revealed about the plot- but John is back with another hero saving the day through his big punches, and heart-winning chase sequences!
8. Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha | 26 April 2024
It is a romance drama film directed by Neeraj Pandey ( A Wednesday, Special 26, Baby, and M.S Dhoni fame). The movie is about a love story that spans a long period from 2002 to 2023. The plot is kept under wraps- but a lot of action, drama, and romance is going to unfold! The movie stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Jimmy Shergill, and Sai Manjarekar in the movie.
