Go Goa Gone is a 2013 action comedy zombie film- probably the first that this genre was explored in India- and people loved it! This first-of-its-kind Bollywood movie was about 3 friends- Hardik, Bunny, and Luv- who share a flat in Mumbai. They plan out a wild party at an island in Goa- but on reaching the venue they learn that a virus has spread and everyone on the island is turning into a zombie. Over the years, Saif’s fake Russian accent, and the three friend’s comic timing have become a part of the cult classic era- who would’ve thought that this movie would be termed classic for a genre that is hardly ever explored in Indian cinema?
