1. The Last of Us

This show is based on the 2013 action-adventure game that was available on Playstation 3 and became pretty famous. The series is based on the popular book series by author Tom Clancy. The latest installation in the series showed the CIA agent is now promoted to the position of the director and many loose ends from the previous seasons are gripped shut to give a grand and memorable ending to the show. Our hero, Jack Ryan single-handedly faces and saves the world from the destructions of the looming World War 3 by deactivating a nuclear weapon fallen in the hands of Russian gangsters. The Jack Ryan series gave the fans many twisted stories to keep watching and the finale season is so worth it! John Krasinski was the heart of the show playing the lead character of Jack Ryan with full conviction.

3. Black Mirror S6

This show set in a dystopian future where technology has turned against humanity, has created so many awe-inspiring and outright nightmarish stories over the past whole decade that it has run. The last season is like the cherry on the cake, with the inclusion of new techs like AI, and online streaming taken to a whole new unexpected level. Especially, the episode ‘Joan is Awful’ which is considered one of the best-rated episodes of the series, shows the life of a woman who wakes up and finds her life documented and streamed online by the viewers. This is the final season of the show and gained massive viewership due to its stories and it being the last season.

4. Manifest S4

After a few scary tribulations, when a flight Montego Air Flight 82 landed at its destination location, the passengers are shocked that the world has moved 5 years ahead in just a few hours! The whole series focused on the stories of the crew and the passengers onboard this strange flight and their lives after the incident. The 4th and last season’s 2nd part of Manifest was released in June explaining the remaining mysteries and the ‘death date’ of the characters. 5. The Witcher S3

This Netflix original series is a fantasy drama that already had a massive fan following owing to its detailed plots and impressive cinematography. People were already rooting for their favorite characters and waiting for the next event to go according to what they wanted! The Wicther season 3 is also divided into two parts- the first one has released in June and saw Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri coming together as a unique yet strong family. 6. Secret Invasion

This show which showed Nick Fury taking the central stage and saving the world from external invasions turned out as successful as the Marvel studios anticipated. The show is not just another wonder added to Marvel fandom but also includes many famous faces like Emilia Clarke becoming a part of this show. It shows the story of Nick Fury and his team having a face-off with the dangerous shapeshifting Skrulls trying to invade and take over Earth. It got a good IMDb rating of 7 and is a must-watch if you like watching action thrillers where our heroes save the world from aliens!

7. Succession Season 4

Succession is a satirical comedy-drama series that started in 2018 and its 4th season was released in June 2023. The series focuses on the Roy family who own and run the successful conglomerate Waystar Royco- an entertainment giant and their fight for power. The 4th season shows the company considering a profitable sales deal with the tech visionary Lukas Matsson.  The whole family is looking forward to the deal and anticipating large chunks of profits from this sale.

8. Sweet Tooth S2

It is not what it sounds like! The Sweet Tooth is an apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic series wherein a boy who is half-human and half-deer searches for a new beginning to his different life along with a gruff protector. The boy Gus and his team including Wandy and other hybrid kids are on a mission to find the cure to the Sick. It is an interesting children’s series that takes you on an apocalyptic adventure with these kids who are fighting to live with their hybrid personalities. With the success of the second season, Netflix has also announced a third season!

9. Beef

It is a black comedy-drama series that was released in the first week of April 2023 on Netflix and as the name suggests- yes, it is based on a quarrel! The show started by showing two total strangers passing by and getting into a case of road rage that brings a lot of chaos and unwanted drama into their lives. This series is created by the famous South Korean director Lee Sung Jin and features Steven Yeun and Ali Wang in the lead roles. The show also stars other talented stars like David Choe, Patti Yasutake, and Joseph Lee in supporting roles. This show has heaped loads of praise from audiences and critics and also received 13 nominations in the 75th Primetime Emmy Award- seems like a great show!

10. The Bear Season 2

It is a comedy-drama show about a young chef Carmy, who moves back to his home place Chicago to run his family sandwich shop after he and his family witness the death of a family member. He now has to face so many obstacles to run this food business and a lot more interesting things are coming his way! The first season was pretty awesome (according to viewers and IMDb rated it 8.5 out of 10!) and therefore this series that was released in 2020 has got a second season that started streaming in 2023. The show is directed by Christopher Storer and stars Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, Abby Elliot, and Matty Matheson in prominent roles among others.
