This series is a crime drama mystery that revolves around Noyonika Sengupta, a housewife, and her struggles as a lawyer trying to save her husband. The show is an adaptation of the popular American series, The Good Wife released in 2009 and had as many as 7 successful seasons! Noyonika has to wear her black gown after so many years to return to her career as a lawyer only to win her husband’s case of corruption and sex scandal against the court. This Hotstar special series features Kajol in the lead role and is high on suspense and drama! The show is directed by Suparn Varma and also stars Kubbra Sait, Flora Saini, and Jisshu Sengupta in important roles. ‘The Trial’ is releasing on July 14 and we are wishing to see a lot of twists and turns in this crime drama.
2. Adhura |July 7| Amazon Prime
Adhura is a supernatural thriller and also Prime’s first Hindi horror series that is directed by Ananya Chatterjee and Gaurav K. Chawla. It stars Ishwak Singh, Rasika Duggal, and Shrenik Arora in important roles. The show is about demonic events happening inside an elite boarding school. Adhura is a seven episodes series that revolves around two timelines- a 2007 batch of students who come back to the school in 2022 for a reunion and find fear in the corridors where they played once. The show gets more sinister when Adhiraj Jaisingh (Ishwak Singh) meets Vedant Malik in the school but is linked with him due to some dark secrets. It is releasing on July 7 on Amazon Prime and it is time we prepare popcorn and watch this hair-raising horror flick!
3. Sweet Kaaram Coffee | July 6| Amazon Prime
“Sweet Kaaram Coffee” is the highly anticipated Tamil drama series on Prime, scheduled to release on July 6. This captivating series showcases the story of three women belonging to different generations who rekindle their zest for life and find empowerment. Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, Krishna Marimuthu, and Swathi Raghuraaman, this beautiful series is also available in dubbed versions in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. It features talented actors such as Madhoo, Lakshmi, and Santhy Balachandram in prominent roles.
4. Ishq Next Door | July 3| JioCinema
Ishq next door is a classic romantic show based on the story of three youngsters and their entangled journeys of love. It begins with the story of Dev (Abhay) who is living a simple and straightforward life taking care of his mother and young wayward brother. However, everything changes when he crosses paths with Meher Kaur (portrayed by Natasha), leading his life to take a 180-degree turn. The show becomes even more interesting when stylish Ashwin (Purav) enters their lives. The show stars Natasha Bhardwaj, Mrinal Dutt, Abhay Mahajan, and the YouTube star Purav Jha in lead roles, and looks like an interesting love saga! It is releasing on July 3 on JioCinema.
5. Maya Bazaar: For Sale |July 14| Zee5
It is a comedy series produced by Rana Duggubati in collaboration with ZEE5 and directed by Gautami Challagalla. What’s even more exciting is that the show features an ensemble cast including Dr. Naresh Vijaya Krishna, Jhansi, Eesha Rebba, Ravi Varma, Hariteja, Raja Chembolu, Sunaina Badam, and Harika Vedula, among others. The story of the show revolves around a group of individuals who purchase flats in a luxurious high-rise building in an effort to elevate their social status. However, numerous problems arise from the very first day of the building’s inauguration, such as the celebrity Abhijeet falling from the terrace and the discovery that the supposedly posh building was illegally constructed by the builder.
