The film OMG: Oh My God! was an instant hit. People loved the Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal drama for touching the right cords in matters of religion, spirituality and religious gurus. And now, with Akshay Kumar dropping the film’s poster on his social handle, we are delighted to find that OMG 2 will release soon.
Akshay Kumar released a new poster of OMG 2 on Instagram a few hours ago revealing himself as Lord Shiva writing “आ रहे हैं हम, आइयेगा आप भी. 11th August. In theatres. #OMG2. People are excited to see Akshay’s look that resembles Lord Shiva. The film is directed by Amit Rai and will have Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi in central roles, too.

The initial posters of this movie were revealed by Akshay Kumar in late 2021. A few reports suggest that this movie will be a satirical take on the education system of India.

OMG: Oh My God! (Part 1) was a light-hearted film that saw an aggrieved man, Kanji, sue God in the courtrooms. Akshay Kumar played the role of Lord Krishna, but unlike before, the God rode a bullet and lived like any normal person. We loved the film as it separated God from corrupt Godmen who bank upon people’s fears and insecurities. This satirical comedy-drama film was a box office hit besides receiving appreciation from all quarters. With OMG-2’s poster release, people are now looking forward to watching Akshay Kumar playing the role of Lord Shiva. They are expecting it to be just as awesome as the first part.
When will OMG-2 release?
The film will be released on 11th August 2023 on the weekend leading up to Independence Day. It will be released along with Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel’s Gadar 2, and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal on the same day.
