Marvel movies have a crazy fan base not only in the US but also in India. With the conclusion of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we can expect wars, mysteries, secrets, and a whole Multiverse saga-like movies in the future but not before character introductions. Also, Marvel’s anti-hero team known as Thunderbolts is all set to arrive and how can we forget the OG Marvel’s Fantastic Four Saga. Marvel Studios’s presentation at International Comic-Con- San Diego 2022 revealed its plan for Phases Four, Five, and Six. As Phase Four has already concluded, we made a list of upcoming Marvel movies including all the movies you need to watch in Phase Five:’
1. The Marvels
The sequel to the 2019 movie Captain Marvel, a continuation of the miniseries Ms Marvel of 2022, and the 33rd installment to the Marvel Cinematic Universe- The Marvels is all set to release in November 2023. This movie would primarily focus on the trio of Monica Rambeau, Carol Denvers (Captain Marvel), and Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel).
2. Deadpool 3
Finally, the much-awaited addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is here. Deadpool 3 is going to be a part of Marvel after the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by Disney. Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine would be a treat to watch.
3. Captain America: Brave New World
One of the most awaited upcoming Marvel movies, the fourth installment of Captain America will release in the year 2024. The film will explore the effects of becoming Captain America on Wilson. Harrison Ford will be portraying the role of Thunderbolt replacing the late William Hunt in the Marvel series.
4. Thunderbolts
Thunderbolts is scheduled to be released on December 20, 2024, with Harrison Ford essaying his previous role from Captain America: Brave New World. This movie is based on anti-heroes and how they go on missions for the government.
5. Blade
Another addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the character Blade. Although Blades was originally a Marvel comic character, it never got a full movie. Mahershala Ali who had an uncredited cameo as Blade in 2021 Eternals, will be in the titular role in this upcoming movie.
6. Fantastic Four
Phase Five has included a lot of different characters from different universes, not a part of Marvel previously, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Other such are Mister Fantastic and Alt Richard Reeds. The Fantastic Four movie will now have a Marvel make-over in the year 2025.
7. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty
Set to release in the year 2026, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is a part of the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With almost all the original Avengers deconstructed, fans are now speculating how will the Kang Dynasty turn out and who will it star. Only time can tell.
8. Avengers: Secret Wars
Although pushed back a year, Avengers: Secret Wars is all set to release in 2027. It is the sixth installment of the blockbuster Avengers. It is expected to conclude Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Multiverse Saga.
