The film chronicles the life of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, including his drug addiction, arrest for his role in the 1993 Bombay bombings, relationship with his father, return to the industry, and final dismissal of the Bombay bombings charges, and release after serving his sentence. Ranbir Kapoor plays the main character alongside Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, and Jim Sarbh in an ensemble cast.

The story follows Raj and Simran, two young non-resident Indians who fall in love while on a European trip with their pals. Raj tries to persuade Simran’s family to marry them, but Simran’s father has already promised Simran’s hand to his friend’s son. From September 1994 to August 1995, the film was shot in India, London, and Switzerland.

10. M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story
