Gaslight is a mystery thriller movie that was released on Disney+Hotstar. It is the story of Meesha Gaikawad-the daughter of a royal king who returns to her royal estate after 15 years when her father invites her back. However, on returning back she finds her father missing, and the more she tries to solve the mystery of his disappearance the more complex it gets. It is another great mystery thriller that could keep you guessing till the end! The movie is directed by Pawan Kripalani, produced by Ramesh Taurani, and stars Sara Ali Khan, Vikrant Massey, and Chitrangada Singh in lead roles.
2. IB71
It is a spy thriller movie based on a high-profile Indian army mission in 1971 during the Indo-Pak War. The movie is about the war between Indian intelligence and Pakistani establishments- it shows the Indian intelligence bureau headed by IB Dev Jamwal who along with his team tries to save many passengers onboard a flight hijacked by a Pakistani separatist group but has to change plans when things don’t go there way. IB71 is directed by Sankalp Reddy (Ghazi Attack fame) and features Vidyut Jamwal, Niharica Raizada, Vishal Jethwa, and Anupam Kher in important roles. It is a good movie depicting another great Indian mission undertaken during the Indi-Pak war.
3. Selfie
It is a comedy-drama movie- a remake of a hit 2019 Malayalam movie called ‘Driving License’. The movie narrates the tale of a Bollywood superstar Vijay Kuamr, who loses his driving license and needs to get another made from the RTO office. However, when he locks horns with a driving inspector, who is also his fan, the feud between the two becomes the talk of the whole nation. The movie has a lot of drama and we just need to be on our seats and enjoy it! This comedy movie is directed by Raj Mehta and stars Akshay Kumar, Emraan Hashmi, Diana Penty, and Mrunal Thakur in prominent roles.
4. Gulmohar
Gulmohar is a sweet but complex family drama that could be relatable to many! It shows the story of the last four days of a joint family living together in a house that they are selling and now shifting to another city. The movie has an ensemble star cast including Manoj Bajpayee, Sharmila Tagore, Simran, Suraj Sharma, and Amol Palekar among others.
