1. Ave Kallu (1967)
At the time of its release, this was a huge hit. It follows a Susila who returns from college to find her family has been killed. The only clues available are a half-smoked cigar and a mysterious woman in white running in the courtyard. Sounds like a horror movie? It is one, in a way.

2. Drushyam (2014)
This film probably caught the attention it deserves after its Hindi remake with Ajay Devgn in the lead. Drushyam was originally a Malayalam language film, which was remade in Telugu before its Hindi remake. The story is the same. It is still fun to watch though.

3. D 16 (2016)
D 16 follows a police officer as he investigates the mysterious circumstances behind the death of a couple. However, he loses his leg in a confrontation during the investigation.

Starring Tapsee Pannu, Game Over is a nail-biting thriller with a twist. Unlike other stories, the protagonist has three lives in the twisted game of survival with the serial killer who broke into her house.

The movie has an interesting premise. Several women claim Karthik as their husband and lodge a missing complaint. Tensions arise when a man who claims to know him is murdered.

Raahu follows a young woman with conversion disorder, which makes her temporarily blind at the sight of blood. She adecides to get married to her boyfriend much to her father’s disapproval due to his belief in astrology.
