However, they aren’t aware that back on the mainland, a terrible threat is looming at all the chicken population. So, what will they do now? That’s what we will know after watching the movie!
2. The Family Plan | December 15 | Apple TV+ Release
It is an American comedy action movie that revolves around the life of Dan, a former elite government assassin. When some people from the past know about his whereabouts- they decide to take revenge on him. When Dan gets the information- he packs his family and all his needs in a minivan and off he goes on an adventure of a lifetime!
3. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom | December 22 | Theatrical Release
An action fantasy movie and a superhero DC film that is a sequel to the previous Aquaman movie is ready to amaze us all! This movie shows Black Manta returning to take revenge for his previous loss from Aquaman. And this time around, Aquaman has teamed up with his brother Orm- to fight and win against all evils. The movie stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, and Nicole Kidman in prominent roles among others.
4. Leave the World Behind | December 8 | Netflix Release
It is another awaited Netflix release that might spark interest in all of you! This thriller drama movie is about a family going on a vacation on Long Island- they cross paths with two strangers who tell them about the looming blackout. On an island with limited resources- how will this group of people survive and get out of this situation? Sounds like a great thriller, right? Well, we can know only after watching.
5. Merry Little Batman | December 8 | Theatrical Release
Merry Little Batman is an animated superhero action movie Little Damian Wayne- yup the tiny version! Now, Little Wayne is alone in the mansion and has to defend the supervillains who have attached them and are planning to destroy their holidays (a very big issue to solve!). A comic action movie that could become our favorite too- we never know until we watch the film.
6. Wonka | December 2023 | Theatrical Release
A fantasy musical film that is also among one of the most anticipated movies of the month! The movie is bringing back the popular character of Wonka- albeit, a younger version of him. The young Wonka discovers Oompa Loompa for the very first time and also discovers the joys of the world when he goes on his very first adventure. It features Timothee Chalamet, Hugh Grant, Rowan Atkinson, and Sally Hawkins in important roles.
7. Maestro | December 20 | Netflix Release
A biographical movie that shows the relationship and love story of the famous American composer Leonard Bernstein, and a Costa Rican actress, Felicia Montealegre, whom he later marries. This romantic movie stars Carey Mulligan, and Bradley Cooper in the lead roles. The movie has already been screened at the 80th Venice International Film Festival, New York Film Festival, and BFI London Film Festival, and also got a limited release in the US- it has already received a lot of praise.
