In the bizarre news world, we have another one surfacing from Bihar’s West Champaran area where two lovers would go to any lengths to avoid getting caught. The girl would cut off the power supply of the entire village to meet her boyfriend so that nobody would recognize them in the darkness. The good news is that these two love-stricken souls got married after getting caught!
Frequent power cuts disturbed the villagers
The villagers were agitated by the frequent power cuts and even complained to the electricity department about this but that was all in vain. The villagers then decided to find out the reason for themselves in the event of another power cut. And that’s when the girl, Preeti, who used to cut off the power, and her lover, Rajkumar, were caught red-handed.
“Preeti used to cut off the electricity of the village every night due to which many thefts were reported in the village. We were troubled by that girl,” a villager, Govinda Chaudhary, told a news source.

The viral video
This whole incident came to light when a video of a few villagers thrashing a young man with sticks became viral on the internet. Turns out the young boy was Rajkumar and the girl trying to save him was his girlfriend Preeti. The villagers were agitated by their behavior and thrashed Rajkumar with sticks for troubling everyone.
Aftermath of the incident
The incident was reported at the police station, and as this was a matter of a love affair, the police would take the necessary action required. However, the families of the two agreed to a reconciliation and got them married in a local temple.
So, I guess love won!
